Optical Carrier Levels
The optical fibers that carry data signals to customers receiving service from Cavalier’s fiber optic network consist of optical carrier, OC, levels that are comparative to the speed of the data that is being carried. The optical carrier, OC, levels are sent out at a speed of 155.52 mbps on a network line. Since they use the speed of 155.52 mbps they are identified to as OC-3.
Cavalier’s telecommunications network is made up of fiber optic cables that transmit all of our data. Cavalier has invested over $215 million to make sure that their customers are attaining the highest value, the most opportune, and the most consistent services out there.
