How to Get Better Results Out of Your Internet Search

When using a search engine to find the site or information that you are looking for you can sometimes end up with a few bad eggs in the bunch; meaning that some of the listed results are not even close to what you are looking for or just don’t have useful information.  There are some things that you can do to make sure that the results that you receive from your Internet search are helpful and useful links and information.

First, make sure that you are spelling the person, place, thing, idea that you are searching for, correctly.  You can’t search for the right word if you don’t know its spelling.  Also search using major keywords that involve the subject.  This way you will have a better chance of finding what you are looking for.  You can also use plus signs, and signs, or the word ‘or’ to help find something that is made up of two or more words.
