Voice and Data Communication on a Single Connection

PRI, Primary Rate Interface, is a telecommunications means of carrying numerous voice and data transmissions between point A and point B.  Dynamic PRI is a Primary Rate Interface type that is able to distribute voice communications and High Speed Internet on one sole connection.

This form of PRI is used for businesses that are operating at a small or medium sized capacity.  Through Cavalier’s Dynamic PRI system incoming and outgoing calls are handled on the same channels, on a call by call foundation.  There are eleven channels for voice services and one channel for data services.

Web Voice Mail

It seems like anything that we do these days can be done through the Internet.  It is extremely convenient to be able to communicate with someone half a world away, catch up on the latest season of your favorite television program, or do all of your weekly shopping while in your pajamas, in your home office.  Besides all of these features that not only the Internet allows you to do, but also your telecommunications provider, you are also able to access telephone and voice features on the Internet as well.

VLAN

A VLAN, also called virtual LAN, is a group of hosts that correspond as if they were joined to a broadcast domain.  This allows for the end stations to be put together even if they are not located on the same network.

These devices are actually located in a number of different LAN areas.  This form of technology, which is offered by Cavalier for its business customers, allows departments that are in different locations to be connected to one departmental network.

Telemarketers, harassing phone calls, and other unwanted callers can make the convenience of having a home phone seem more like a nuisance. Cavalier customers are able to avoid these hassles altogether with Cavalier Call Blocking.

Unwanted callers can be blocked by Cavalier customers so that they are able to enjoy having the use of Cavalier Telephone’s convenient voice services.  Call Block lets you select up to six phone numbers that are in your calling are that you would like to be blocked from being able to reach you.  Incoming calls placed from your last incoming number can also be blocked, even those numbers that show up as unavailable or unknown.  The caller that is being blocked will receive a message that says that you are not accepting calls at this time.

Cavalier Helps Customers Never Have to Deal with Blocked Calls Again

Everyone knows what a pain it can be to receive calls that are marked as anonymous or unknown.  People that do not have Called ID experience this in an even more obnoxious manner due to the fact that they are unable to screen their calls.  Those that do have Caller ID are able to screen these calls, but still have to contend with the loathsome continuous ringing of these phone calls.  Despite having to deal with this frustrating occurrence more often than necessary, there is now a technology that can eliminate the bothersome incidence of callers who block their numbers for people that have Caller ID.

Cavalier’s anonymous call rejection feature is a phone feature that is used along with Caller ID.  Incoming callers that block their phone numbers from being seen by the party that they are calling will hear a message stating that the person that they are calling does not acknowledge or accept blocked calls.  This is another one of Cavalier Telephone’s useful calling features, included in their calling plans.
