Email Etiquette: Time is Key
Sending email is a convenient way of keeping in touch, especially in the business world. Email can be used to schedule a meeting, to give a thank you, to inquire about a product, or to attract a potential new client. When communicating with someone that is a client or that could be a potential client there are rules that can and should be followed to allow your business to flourish and to keep your customers happy and coming back for more.
When receiving an email from a client it is important that you reply promptly. Replying in an untimely fashion may come across as your company being uninterested to the client and is extremely disrespectful. Also, when replying to the email that a client has sent be sure to answer the questions fully. If you don’t answer their inquiry it could mean that they will go elsewhere to seek the answers that they deserve.
