In the past few years the demand for T1 services has begun to skyrocket, making the price of the lines go down.  T1 service has the ability to satisfy a business’s need for voice services and data services or a combination of both, making it convenient and cost efficient. 

Cavalier offers a variety of T1 services that can be extremely beneficial to businesses.  Internet T1, Smart T1, Complete T1, and Complete T1 Fractional are the different T1 products that Cavalier extends its customers.  All of these services, whether voice or data or a combination of the two, are reliable, fast, and have superior connectivity.

The prices for T1 services may be going down, but the demand and consistency of the service is going up.

It is possible to purchase T1 lines which only partially utilize the maximum transfer rate of 1.54 Mbps. These are referred to commonly as “fractional T1 lines”. This allows for T1 service that is more affordable when all 24 channels are not necessary.

Fractional T1 lines are exactly the same as Full T1 lines, except the only the difference is the amount of separate 64Kbps lines provided. These T1 lines are available in nearly any fraction of the full 24 channel circuit. For example, a 12 channel fractional T1 line will provide 12 lines of 64 Kbps bandwidth, or 768Kbps (12 x 64 = 768). Since full T1 lines have become more affordable recently, fractional T1 lines are not as cost-effective as they once were.
