Frame Relay

Filed under: Cavalier Business Communication — admin @ 4:33 pm

Frame relay is a telecommunications service that is used for the transmission of data between local area networks (LANs) over a wide area network (WAN).  The data that is transmitted is sent through a digital signal in a relay of frames to one or more given destinations.  The data is sent from one or more end-points.

Frame relay is a cost-efficient service that is also capable of speeding up data transmission.  This type of service is used to carry out voice and data procedures and can be provided on T-carrier systems and fractional T-1 carriers.

Cavalier offers frame relay as one of its key business segment products.
